Is there ANY hope for game streaming? We tried them all.

There are so many game streaming services popping up, with so many idiosyncrasies, that it’s hard to keep it all straight. In this video, James takes Linus through a tour testing GeForce Now, Google Stadia, Microsoft Project Xcloud, and Sony PlayStation Now to see which one makes the most sense…except we didn’t try Shadow.

How the New PlayStation Plus Compares to Xbox Game Pass and Nintendo Switch Online

After months of reports, Sony has finally announced an overhaul to its subscription service plans, with the rebranding of PlayStation Plus in June. While the name remains the same, the service has evolved with some new additions, such as limited-time game trials, and the shift of another PlayStation service under the PS Plus umbrella. All three services certainly share some commonalities, but there’s actually some quite different focuses when it comes to how enticing they are to would-be subscribers, so let’s cover the biggest changes and differences that we know of so far.

Microsoft has just released its new addition to its next gen Xbox and PCs. Xcloud is Microsoft’s answer to cloud gaming and a powerful opponent for the other cloud gaming services such as Nivida Geforce Now, PS NOW, and Google Stadia. The question is though… How well does Xcloud stack up against PlayStation NOW?

Well, we found that it is pretty impressive, and boy does the PS5 have news coming its way because Xcloud is a very real threat to PlayStation’s PS NOW. With good latency and performance, similar to, if not better than all the other cloud services combined. Xcloud is just 1 month old and already has 150 games on its extensive library… PlayStation Now is 6 years old and has 700 so be warned PlayStation… Xcloud is coming for you.
